I don’t think they were the fastest, however they could wear out the brakes on the other Corvettes they raced. A friend had a super light Gull Wing ( one of 5 made) and told me he would wear out there brakes in the race. They passed him in the straight away and he would outbrake them in the corners!,! But he still won!
