When I owned my 67 Vette, Mobile came out with the first non steel belt radials and I put them on my 67. The side walls had red lines around the tire which for it’s time was a 1st. The car handled well but the Vette was not set up to have radials so it could get wild in corners but the ride was fantastic!!
Lol – – I have NEVER before seen those tires referred to as ‘Red Walls’. They are ‘Red Line’ Tires.
