I wish I still had my 1961 Buick Electra 225. It was loaded with electric everything. It had the 445 wildcat motor with a stock Holley 4 barrel carburetor. It only got about 8 miles to the gallon. Haven’t seen another one anywhere since I had to sell it
My first car was a ‘53 Chevy. It was a four door post with a 235 ci stovebolt in-line 6 and a Powerglide Auto trans (very early issue trans – weighed a ton). Learned a lot on that old beast.
I had a 71 when I was 20 yrs old LOVED THAT CAR!!!!, It had a Rochester Qudrajet car was a real sleeper……
only lost 1 race to a Javelin. it only took another 20 yrs. to stop crying after I wrecked it in front of my shop!
My best friend in high school had a “baby blue” 53 2dr sedan with a 235 inline 6 banger and a 3 on the tree tranny. We had some really good times in that car !!!!!
at one time I owned a 53 2 dr 3 speed 6cyl.
I owned 54 3 speed on column 6 cyl I switched it over to 12 volt system

I like older cars ; they last longer Put the good stuff in them and you have something to last a long time
It would look better if it had whitewall tires.
